Synamatix is focused upon applying its proprietary SynaBASE platform and software to convert genomics data into knowledge. The current phase of technology and product development is heavily focused upon addressing the management and analysis of data from 2nd generation DNA sequencers AND their application towards personalised medicines and enhanced crops. Since incorporation in 2002, Synamatix has licensed its software to leading genome research institutions in the USA, Europe, Australia and Singapore. Bioinformatics Group Leader
You should have:

	At least 3 years of experience in a Bioinformatics/Software Development company OR 5 years of experience in a Bioinformatics environment or related field.
	An MSc or PhD in Molecular Biology/ Bioinformatics/ Mathematics/ Statistics or the equivalent.

Bioinformaticians
You should have:

	At least 1 years of experience in a Bioinformatics company OR 3 years of experience in a Bioinformatics environment or related field.
	A BSc in Molecular Biology/ Bioinformatics/ Mathematics/ Statistics or the equivalent.

Bioinformatics Software Developers and Project Managers
You should have:

Perl, Java and C language experience

Interest or experience in one or more of the following areas:

		Genome assembly - (de novo and mapping assisted)
		Mutation detection pipelines
		Genome annotation pipelines
		Data integration and mining
		Genome viewers
